Unable to Port-in to Telkom

I have been trying to leave Vodacom and PORT to Telkom and have not been able to do so for two weeks now. Every time I try a get an error 'PortInBySMS service temporarily suspended. Please use alternative channels.' there aren't any other alternative channels anywhere and the same not advertised on your website or any brochures. Just spoke to Marlon from Vodacom and he mentions that the isn't any issues or problems from their end and that the service is suspended by Telkom.
