Unable to get TI account cancelled

After several attempts, over several months, to get my TI - SBSA Dialup account cancelled, Telkom is still collecting R69.00 every month from my bank account. Several calls were made to 10210 - every time waiting for hours to speak to a consultant just to be cut off again. I've visited the Telkom store in Centurion Mall twice and all they could do is sending a mail to someone (probably in space) who would apparently call me back, but never did.
On Saturday 23 May I've sent a query to the Escalation Centre and received an automated reply to confirm receipt of my email, but I haven't received any response yet.
Note that I have not received a reference number for any of these queries to date - not even from the Escalation Centre.
I don't want to just cancel the debit order because of the risk of being blacklisted if I do that. How difficult can it be to get this account cancelled? Telkom should actually refund me for all the debit orders they've put through since my first attempts of getting the account cancelled - but what is the chances of that happening?
PLEASE ASSIST ASAP!
