*****ulent Transaction
Telkom does not care about safeguarding clients from *****. Between the period of June - August 2025 *****sters managed to open a Telkom account in my name using **** documents. ABSA alerted me to the **** and recommended that I register with SAFPS immediately. The Southern African ***** Prevention Service (SAFPS) is a non-profit organisation with the main objective to provide a ***** prevention service to its Members. Part of the services include a free service to the public to protect one’s identity if it was compromised in any way or form.
If any person is applying for credit, this letter has to be presented in order for the credit to be granted. As I live abroad, it became evident that people are trying to ***** my identity by doing credit checks in my name. BUT, because I had the SAFPS on my side no transactions could go ahead. Except one. TELKOM!! This is the second month Telkom has *****ulently deducted R629 from my account. When is this going to stop? Their call centre personnel cannot assist me. They have no e mail to send information to. How do I solve this problem?
