Trying to cancel my contract for the past 4 months!

<p>I have been trying to cancel my cellphone contract with Telkom for the past 4 months. I filled in the cancellation form in May and heard nothing. On Sunday (the 9th October) I called Telkom and the lady said the retentions department would call me back in 48 to 72 hours, I heard nothing. I called yesterday (12th October) the gentleman I spoke to said his manager would call me by today morning (the 13th) I heard nothing.. Today (the 13th) I call again and guess what, they have no record of me trying to cancel the contract. No record of calls, no record of forms.... I cannot believe I have been exposed to such incompetency. I struggle to fathom how ridiculously inefficient this whole thing is. </p>
