Try convincing Telkom their equipment is faulty...

Two weeks ago my business line phone line went dead. The ADSL data part is still working. So I plugged an alternative handset in to make sure it wasn't my handset. same problem with alternative handset . line dead. so I report the fault in the way prescribed and get a reference number. two weeks later still no line and I keep calling their fault line at great expense on my cell phone. <br> I now have a reference number and an \escalation number". so when I call today we back to square one. The operator starts arguing with me and will NOT believe me that the problem is on their equipment. he spends 5 minutes at my cell phone call expense telling me I have to check my equipment and WILL NOT believe me that I have done all the tests to prove it is not my handset. If their call centre agents are so clever why aren't they out doing the repairs? no one else is.....How is one supposed to run a business without a telephone line?"""
