Took a contract with telkom. Very angry

<p>I took a contract with telkom on the 12th of February in tge durban gateway mall with telkom for R399 for a hawaii P9 and a free hawaii 7' tablet. Owen the consultant told me that he would receive stock the very next day but the stock did not come in. I called in everyday asking if my stuff came in and he called me tge next Monday to inform me that the phone came in, I was very happy and told him that I was not able to fetch it and that my husband will be picking it up that afternoon. when my husband got to the shop he only received the phone and not the tablet, he asked the consultat and assistant checked on the computer and indeed I suppose to get a tablet. I personally went to the store the very next day and numerous of times to ask about th e free Tablet and all they did was take my details down and never called me back. today I went in to ask about it again and a lady said it was only for the first 1000 customers. by now I was very irritated and asked to speak to tge manager. another customer who came in after me had got seen to after I came to the store. now I got angry after waiting 20 minutes to see a manager. I told Owen and he got an Indian guy (I think he was the 2nd in charge) he said that they can do nothing about it and that I have signed a contract. he was not sincere at all and he could not care a damn after me telling him that Owen did not tell me this at the beginning and telkom needs to cater me with a tablet because this was promised to me. the consumer law says that verbally I will receive what I am told or the price u see is the price you will get. I want this problem sorted out. I want my tablet that I was promised about or I'm going to return the phone and never shop at telkom again. I left the store very very angry upset and very frustrated </p>
