Too incompotent or ********* to cancel a service?

After many years of headaches and constant faults, I cancelled my ADSL service with Teklkom. The compulsory land line which has never been used had to be cancelled by sending and email ********** along with a copy of my ID.

I sent Telkom this request on 19 September 2016 requersting immediate cancellation as the line had an open fault for months and I really couldnt teal with the almost daily call's asking me if the line had been resolved.

I sent a follow up cancellation request in October when I received yet another invoice for the line, and now, on 18 December, I receive anouther invoice for this line whnich I cancelled in September. The Total outstanding is now up to nearly R800.

What is the problem Telkom? - are you too incommpotent to act on a simple request to cancel the line, or are you just that ********* that you think you can continue to bill users despite them having requested the service get cancelled?

Since then, as great time and cost myself, I have also visited 2 Telkom stores, who refuse to assist as they say they are not allowed to deal with cancellations, meaning the only option to cancel is to send Telkom an mail, as I originally did in September.

It just happens Telkom are one of 2 companies laying fibre in my street, with service like this, I am very reluctant to even consider them for any business oppoertunities in future. Fix this complaint, cancel the line as of 19 September, per my original request, credit my account, and maybe I'll consider doing business with you in future.
