I am extremely concerned about unauthorized charges on my Telkom contract.

My contract amount is R300 per month, yet I noticed that R544 has been debited from my account for the past two months. I visited a Telkom store to investigate the matter and was informed that another number was apparently linked to or using my contract without my knowledge or authorization.

The consultant assisted by blocking the number; however, my concerns remain unresolved.

I would like Telkom to urgently:

Investigate how an unauthorized number was added to or used on my contract. Provide full details of who authorized and used the number. Confirm what security and verification processes were followed before allowing access to my account. Refund the excess amount of approximately R244 per month that was charged over and above my contracted amount for the affected months. Confirm in writing that my account has been secured and that no further unauthorized usage can occur.

As a customer, I should not be held financially responsible for services that I did not authorize. I expect a transparent investigation and a prompt refund of all incorrect charges.

I trust that Telkom will treat this matter as a potential ***** case and provide urgent feedback.
