They won’t cancel my line!

We moved out of a house so I no longer needed my landline, I sent my cancelation form in on the 31st of August 2017. I had no reply for a few weeks, so tried to get hold of Telkom to find out if they had cancelled my line. I then got an invoice for the month of October. I called again to find out why I was receiving an invoice. I had to forward them my cancellation form and was told it would be escalated and resolved from there. I continue to received invoices and kept calling the billing department who then escalated the request again. I then got a call from people telling me I must pay the outstanding invoices. I then called again, had it escalated and in December, someone from the escalations department called me. The apologized for the inconvenience and assured me that they would make sure the lines were cancelled and they would credit the account. It’s now February and I am still receiving invoices from Telkom. I am tired to constantly calling just to be told there is no one I can speak to and I just need to send the forms in again to be escalated. This is the worst service I have ever had. At the moment, I just feel as if Telkom is refusing to close the account so they can try bill me for money every month for a phone line that is not wanted and has been disconnected for months. I don’t know at this point if it will ever get resolved and there are no channels avalible to consumers to get hold of anyone who can actually do something about it. I am very frustrated and disappointed in Telkom and I don’t think I will ever use them again for any other service I may need if this is how they treat their customers.
