Theres a good reason why people call you hellkom

On the 27th of July, my phone line and internet went dead. Initially we didn't know what happened. I reported a fault with telkom and didn't receive a reference number. A few days later I called again and was informed that the lines were down due to cable theft in our area. Forward to the second week without service, we called again and this time we are told that the fault is still active and that progress is halted due to pending investigations. I then sent a message to telkom via FaceBook to which I was told that the commitment date was scheduled for the 15th of August, I then received my first reference number. Forward to the 15th, we call telkom to find out about the progress. The fault is now with the cable company. Forward a few more days to when we call them again and we are told that there is a halt due to lack of equipment at the cabling department. Skip ahead through a few more days and a few more calls to the 24th of august. We call a higher up telkom call center where the lady says that the technicians have temporarily joined the cables since the 8th of august (we've been without service since the 27th of July) and that she would send an email to the relevant party to get some feedback then call us back. Two days later we called that office again and spoke to another person and he said that the reason why the previous lady didn't call us back is because they were having problems with their calls. We went through the motions with him and he said that he would get the attending technician to call us the next day. Next day comes and goes without a call. We call at the end of the day and similar promises are made. It has now been 34 days without service. What do I have to do to get good service from a company I'm practically forced to use?
