The worst customer service at Telkom Marshalltown Johannesburg CBD

Telkom Marshalltown, Johannesburg Worst customer service I have ever experienced. If there was a zero on the rating i would choose that. The Manager himself does not show interest to assist with resolving the issue at hand. So i bought data for my router on the 10/07/2024, when i got home no data was allocated to my number, next day still nothing. Called customer service and the agent I spoke to said there is no data allocated to my number, she asked for a serial number, on the receipt i have where the serial number should be, my number is added there, my receipt did not have the serial number she was requesting, she said I should go back to the store with the receipt.

Went to Telkom Marshalltown Johannesburg CBD, asked for the Manager, he jumped into conclusion without listen to my full story, he said my query has been send through, should be resolved in 24 hours. What query? only to realise that I am not the customer he is talking about, again he took my contacts, made copy of the receipt and said he will send query to head office, should be resolved in 24 hours.

Today is the 17/072024, still no data however money is gone. Went back to the store, spoke to the Manager Mlungisi Nhlapho, the name he gave me because he did not even have the name badge. He looked surprise that till this day, I still dont have data that i paid for. I will think as a manager you follow up a query until it is resolved and update the client, why take my contacts if you not going to update me about the query, maybe the best customer service I expected does not exist anymore.

He said the story about he send an email nad the response was that the query will be escalated to another department. Asked him for proof of all this, he said it is internal emails which he cannot share, asked him for the complaints contact numbers or email address, he said i can go complain on the Telkom page on social media🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

So let me complain here and hopefully I can get my money back soonest
