The worse telecommunications company currently

My mother who is a pensioner took out an ADSl line with Telkom +- 4 years ago. The line never worked correctly nor were they able to fix it for 2 years. She paid without question Instead she was informed that the copper was ****** and they can offer her a better package until fibre lines are installed. They offered her a smart broadband wireless package uncapped/unthrottled 10mbs Fibre line. This also never worked correctly. As the line run at a speed of 0.52mbs - 1.5mbs Multiple calls were logged over the next 2 years. Constantly being told this is not a fix line problem it’s mobile, then mobile says it’s not their problem its fix. I then called mobile and gave a Telkom cell number which they then done in-depth research as to the problem. This was just before lock down. Only to be informed that the towers are being damaged and they don’t have the parts to fix it. Even so no offer to cut the monthly subscription or compensation due to none service delivery. Then she is informed by fixed line that no there is no problem, you are capped. Once you reach 100g it goes to 4mbs then after that 2mbs. Now how does a grandmother use up 100g within 5 days, just by streaming when you constantly buffering? How do you use so much data when you do video calls to your grandkids and the quality is so bad due to speed? They can’t answer except you used the data. To ad injury to insult they charge R899 for a package that never delivers service Compared to Rain and MTN who offer much better service at R599 and you get average of 40mbs When this is presented to Telkom, they inform her that she can cancel. Which she says cancel the line, this is in June 2020. Up until and including May this account was paid with addition funds putting in credit. After that no further payment was made as cancellation is meant to happen. Instead, she is billed continuously until today even though the line is suspended. I ask you, is this fair on the consumer, especially a retired lady? They don’t stop there, as now the bill increased to R4k with addition R1k for data on an uncapped account. Attorneys now calling for payment. As she is a good client she makes a payment arrangement even though this is completely against CPA I’m asking now how do you email in Telkom as they have no email. Who do I report them to, ICASA, OBUTSMAN or the Minister of Telecommunication? Or I’m I just wasting my time and energy with another ******* SOE!!!!

Where do we as the public draw the line and say NO MORE!!!
