The nerve of Telkom to have debtcollectors sms me
I received an sms on 18/02/2015 stating that I owe Telkom Mobilemoney - an amount of R295.50.
First of all I am tired of Telkom sending debit order instructions to have money taken out of my account for a cellphone contract that I do not have with Telkom. I have informed Telkom via HelloPeter and my lawyers that I did not apply for a contract and as a matter of fact I am now waiting for Telkom to be me pay all the money (with interest) debited from my account for the past 2 years without my consent. I told the telesales consultant that had called me over 3years ago that I am NOT interested in a contract phone and despite what I said , Telkom went ahead to send me a cellphone and to sign me up for a contract. For the past 2 years I have been trying to Telkom to stop debiting my account to come collect their phone.
So to now have an sms from debt collectors sent to me is just a big irritation and unnecessary risk to my credit record.. I do not have a contract phone with Telkom and I am waiting for telkom to pay me back 2 years' worth of monthly instalments and I am also waiting for Telkom to stop sending debit order instructions to my account.
