The customer service represantive explained the data package to me - the sales consultant did not!

I recently purchased an LTE sim at the Musgrave store in Durban. I explained to the sales representative (Nomfundo) that I need unlimited internet connection with a speed of 20Mbps because I work from home. She told me to get one of those product brochures from the store so I can choose the package I want, while she finishes with the customer she was helping when I walked in. Once she was done I told her I am not sure what to get because I use fiber, and all I want is unlimited internet connection with a speed of 20Mbps, while I am staying in Durban for a few weeks. She suggested I get an LTE package that I paid R800 for and I left. A week and a half later, I came back into the store to top up on data because the connection was slow (I assumed this was because I am running out of data). The consultant I found there (someone else) suggested I get the R600 LTE package, so I did, this was this Monday. Yesterday (Friday), I walked into the store AGAIN wanting to understand how I can be spending so much on a connection that is so slow, so soon. I was asked what router I am using and I said a ZTE one. They said that that is probably the problem, I am not using a Telkom router, so that is why the speed is affected. I asked them to check what the balance on the router was and I was told, by Nomfundo, that I have plenty of data, there's no need for me to recharge - but she didn't tell me what that data amount was. The problem with the speed is due to my router - not the data. I went home and decided to put the sim into a cellphone and hot spot on there as per their suggestion, but alas, the connection was still too slow!!! I went back to the store, with the sim, my ZTE router and the cell I was tethering from. I was told the phone I was hotspotting from is a 2G phone and I should use a 5G phone. I put the sim in my XR iphone and tested the speed, and it said 2Mbps (while in the store). They told me no, you need to go outside the building because the concrete throws off the connection (weird, right???). I went outside and still, the speed was 2Mbps. I went back to the store and asked how they can assist because the speed is too low and they said they'd have to log a call with technical support but, because it was after 5pm already, there'd be no point because they'd only be able to come in on Saturday to check the area I'm in. I just got off the phone with Amanda Gumede, a consultant I spoke to on the 188 number. When I tell you that she broke it down to me like I am a 5 year old (this is a good thing) how my package works - how after using a certain amount of data, the speed decreases and that's why I'm experiencing a lag in my connection. Had the sales representative (Nomfundo) ACTUALLY told me how this LTE package works I would have NEVER bought it!!! What a ****. It's a pitty that the staff who helps AFTER the crisis is far more qualified than those that usher us into the Telkom family. Amanda Gumede was thorough and patient with me when she explained what I actually bought and how it works, I got off the phone feeling empowered and seen, which is starkly different to how defeated and used I felt after walking out of the Musgrave shop. It was honestly as though after making the purchase and getting my money, they didn't actually care about what happens after or how I am experiencing their service offering. Please give Amanda Gumede her flowers. That call single-handedly made me appreciate the value of having trained personnel that are empathetic. I am angry that I got played by Telkom, but I am happy to have spoken to someone I needed to speak to BEFORE my purchase, because I would have made an informed decision. Thank you Amanda. I hope that all the customers you interact with get off the phone with you feeling as seen as I do. What a thorough consultant!
