the 4month struggle - Average rating of 1.73 from 56,181 reviews
Firstly I know that I'm simply another number on the HelloPeter complaint board for Telkom, as they have 56,000 complaints this year alone. So no one will reply or read this, but I will give my 10c.
I moved to my new apartment on the 1st of June 2017 which is in Mooikloof ridge. I checked my street and saw its LTE covered. perfect, no need to worry about my 3x phone contracts and LTE Router, WRONG! there was absolutely no reception.
I missed a bunch of important work call and had a family emergency where I could not be reached.
I told Telkom I would at least like to cancel my 10gig LTE+Router deal for R300pm as there is no reception. They said the only way that I can cancel it as if a technician comes out to the site to confirm there is no reception.
I waited 2x months for them to come out, when they did, they just laughed and said they know the area, there is no reception. added a report to confirm it and said I am allowed to cancel the contract.
I went to Telkom in Woodlands to fill in a cancellation form end of July. They said it can take up to 20 working days to cancel. On the 28th of August, I only got a call from the cancellation department to say that I need to take my router back to Telkom, to cancel my contract. I went to Telkom Woodlands the 29th of August.
on the 8th of September only, the contract was cancelled.
Now I want a refund for June, July, August and September, as my debit orders kept going off.
I eventually reversed my debit order on the 1st of October as they full amount still went off for the 4th month in a row.
I want my R300 * 4 = R1200 back!
My last invoice was for R1133, please just credit me with R1200 and then we will be quits.
This is how many times I have tried to call for help, where I was never allowed to talk to a manager, as they were always out to lunch.
I have called on these following occasions the past month and no-one was able to help me: • 5 October 14h16 -14min call • 3 October 12h36 - 12min call • 3 October 11h34 - 29min call • 29 September 13h19 - 7min call • 20 September 08h55 - 11min call • 19 September 11h51 - 8min call • 18 September 16h47 - 19min call • 13 September 17h45 - 9min call • 8 September 10h16 - 26min call • 6 September 16h48 - 23min call • 4 September 12h30 - 24min call • 29 August 12h00 - 16min call
The Call centre Managers from Cape town is Cleo Makhubela and can be emailed ********** I am still awaiting her call-back or a response to my email.
I just want my money back, that's all.
