Terrible Service at Telkom

I experienced the worst service at Telkom Express Ballito Junction. I came in on a Sunday to apply for a cellphone contract, and I was told that I would get a response by Monday which was fair enough. However, I only got a response on Thursday that my application has been successful. I went there on Saturday afternoon to pick up the phone, only to be told that they could scan the phone. Therefore I should come back some other time. This was a huge inconvenience to me so I refused. They told me to go to the Telkom upstairs, mind you when I asked them on the day of my application what's the difference in both Telkom, they **** and said the one upstairs only deals with landlines. What I am most ****ed off about is that Gerard Moodley sold me the Huawei instead of the Samsung A5 that I wanted. He said one of the benefits of Huawei is that they fix your screen for free. Now my screen is cracked and on my reporting this I was told that he was 'misinformed' by Justine from Huawei that all screen replacements are free. When I phoned Customer Care they said I should ask to speak to the manager and lay a complaint and the particular employee should be liable to fix my screen. However, Damon Pillay who claimed to be the manager (which I don't believe) defended Gerard. What it worse was the derogatory manner Gerard spoke to me saying that he won't pay for the screen and saying I was desperate for a phone that I had wool in my ears. He even went to the extent of pointing fingers at me and speaking Sfanakalo.

Its my first time using Telkom and I already regret it. I've even started hating the phone as well since it cracked. Thing is, people should not lie and mislead customers in order to make a sale. That's *******.
