Terrible quality infrastructure

Here we go again... I have a Telkom landline and ADSL internet with a different ISP. Three months again it was a month long battle to get Telkom to send someone competent enough to fix our line. The last of the 5 technicians that Telkom sent, said that our line was simply switched off at the pole. This after the others made us buy a new telephone and said that they cannot find anything wrong.

A month again my ISP called me and said that Telkom has upgraded our line and that I can sign up for higher speed package. I knew not to trust Telkom and refused the offer. So here we are, a month later, with our ADSL down and terrible noise on our landline. The ISP already did all their checks, it's clearly a Telkom problem. How is it possible that this newly "upgraded" line, is broken all of a sudden?

My heart dies bit by bit every time I see a Telkom or subcontractor working in the area because I just know that one of them will mess-up and leave me with frustration. It's a sad situation that we find our selves in, with just one provider of infrastructure that cannot maintain it.

I do not want to wait another month, you need to send someone (preferably that last guy that we had), as soon as possible, and with that I mean, NOW.
