Terrible phones(Samsungs) Wonderboom.Junction

I sit on a ship in the Gulf of Oman after leaving Dubai having been forced to purchase a new phone because my month old phone,new, is not working. I purchased my phone at Telkom Wonderboom Junction last month prior to my trip to Malta.In fact Two days before leaving for Malta and now I have a phone that is so temperamental.

I didn't drop it.I don't over use it.The software is up to date.The ship's IT department couldn't even assist because the darn thing doesn't come on.It just died.When I charge it it brings on screens of all colours of the rainbow.This phone is brand new.

The worst part is I bought this phone knowing that I will travel because the phone I purchased late March ALSO from the same Telkom was giving me issues with the speaker.

When I went in the technician said there is nothing wrong so she can't book it in. So I was forced to buy a new phone because I would be travelling.Now this?!!!I had to ask the port agent to purchase a phone on my behalf as I couldn't leave the ship because I was in quarantine after my 1st shot of the vaccine.
