Terrible management

On Friday the 22nd I logged a fault due to not having internet on my ADSL. Then called the call center spending a long time with a Telkom call center agent on the phone to try fix the problem - they couldn’t assist so they said a technician would phone me and assist me. Later in the morning a technician called and said they would escalate the problem and get a technician to come and help. Nobody called or came to assist me. Saturday and Sunday I used my mobile data to keep checking on the Telkom app on the progress of the logged fault. Nothing was being done. Monday morning I called the Telkom call center again and the same process as Friday happened - Telkom call center agent could not assist and again said a technician would contact me. By mid morning I had not heard from anyone @ Telkom and on the Telkom app the tracking of the logged fault said the same as Friday - pending. I called the Telkom call center again. I was then told that the cables have been ****** and that Telkom is not prepared to replace the ****** cables and I will need to apply for another package - fiber or satellite wireless. I was put through to the sales call center. The sales center agent told me there is no fiber or satellite services available in my area - I was horrified. How can you let clients pay for a service and then not provide them with the tools to use these paid services? I have not been informed by Telkom in advance about this let alone given a solution - I just have to go without internet services which have been paid for. I run my business from home and now I’m left without being able to do this as my business is run using the internet. It’s absolutely unacceptable and terrible management from a big company like Telkom. I looked on Telkom’s website on their site map for the closet Telkom store - Fourways Crossing was recommended - I then drive to Fourways crossing to the Telkom there to see if I could try get assistance for a solution - Telkom Fourways crossing has been closed? How can Telkom’s website not be updated - again bad management. I called the call center again - I was told to either find another service provider or wait until fiber has been installed in my area however there is no schedule for the time period I’ll have to wait for it! What is going on and how can Telkom not have had a backup plan for their customers in this case? How can Telkom find this acceptable service to their customers
