Terrible internet service in Somerset Ridge; Somerset West

I recently moved into the Somerset Ridge area in Somerset West and was appalled to discover that in this modern age Telkom's maximum line speed is 2 megs in that area. I had no choice and had to install the service. For a few days I had speeds of 1.8 meg and now around 0.3 if it does not completely hang. I just could not get through to customer service. Both me and my wife are very dependent of fast stable internet as we make a living online. No chance of fibre in the near future. Shame on you, Telkom!!! Going down the drain just like most other state institutions...
