Terrible customer services and response to concerns

I have telephonically app**** for “Telkom May Deal” of the month on 24 May. After many hours on the phone and no reply back from Telkom, it arrived a day after I have logged a complaint with Hello Peter. On arrival I found that the full deal was not loaded onto the contract and was put on a lesser than the standard deal. I contacted Telkom telephonically and they kept putting me back in their 45 minute queues “please hold while I log into the system” and then the next person answers without any knowledge of the call. I then went into Telkom Amanzimtoti, explained to them the problem and they could not help me, as it was a telephonic deal. After hours in the queue, dealing with really rude assistants, I decided that I am still in my cool down period and legally allowed to return the device without any penalties. I therefore handed it back, as they couldn’t/didn’t want to help me. The deal was for R169/m and the next invoice came through over R300. That was after I paid R169 upfront for the deal and gave the device back. Following up on the deal being cancelled, they kept telling me it will take time for it to be sorted (21 business days). Then out of the blue they tried to deduct a further R300 plus from my account, sent me a message (now in August) “Your case no ********** 9 @ Telkom Mobile is resolved. Who are you gonna call!” Surely they don’t expect me to call them again? And no, it was not resolved – I have no explanation and no reason to believe that the case was resolved. Phoning them, they told me that I have a pending balance to pay? If in the first place they could correct their error on Telkom side, I would have happily kept the product as long as the full plan was loaded at the price I have app**** for it. I believe I was not at fault here, would like the charges to be reversed and no further deductions expected.
