Terrible Customer Service from Telkom

So I had an issue with Telkom where my debit did not go off in September as I had changed my account. In October I called into the customer services department at 081180 to query this as they had only advised me in the middle of the moth that the debit did not go off. I queried if there is a bank account that I can deposit this into and was advised that there isn't and was advised that I need to wait for the debit to go off on 31/10/2019, to which I agreed to. On 26/10/2019 my line was suspended when I called in to query it they explained about the payment that didn't go off and so forth, I was then advised that when the payment goes off on 31/10/2019 the line will be reactivated. So I waited for the debit to go off and instead of one full payment going off on 31/10/2019 I had one payment go on of on 31/10 and another go off on 01/11/2019. My line had not been reactivated as promised and I had to call in on Saturday morning. On Saturday I called in and spoke to Emily Mthembu who apologies for the inconvenience caused and advised that she will escalate my query and get the payment allocated to the account and my line would be reactivated within 5 - 24 hours ( From 9:30 am). I patiently waited for ly line to be reactivated and called in on Sunday 03/11/2019 to query what was going on as this had still not happened. The consultant again apologised for the inconvenience caused and advised that only one payment was escalated for allocation and the other wasn't. So she said she would escalate this to be allocated and the line would be reactivated before the end of the day( which of course did not happen) So today I call in and get put through to Goodness who then tells me that no payments have been allocated to the account but they can see that the debits have gone off and it is with the collections department. At this point, I am fuming because from Saturday I have been told that they are going to allocate the payment but nothing is being done so today I get told that I need to wait for another 24 - 48 hours for the line to reactivated. When I asked to speak to the supervisor I got put on hold for 20 mins with no supervisor coming on the line to assist me. I call back and speak to Gugu Sibiya and she advises that that's how it's is and I have to wait 24 to 48 hours for the line to be reactivated.

It seems like the customer care consultants tell you what you want to hear just to fob you off so they don't have to deal with the actual issue at hand. I have never experienced such terrible customer service from any other service provider before. Once my contracts are up I will not be staying with Telkom and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
