Telkom/Vuma Fibre deal - Incorrectly billed for months & STILL unresolved after months of trying

We joined Telkom Fibre in March 2019, in conjunction with Vuma. The deal we agreed to was a 20 Upload/2 download Mbps Vuma/Telkom deal at R807 pm x 12.

Since the inception of this contract, we have been billed incorrectly (R1511.14 pm), because I believe, the Sales Department did not load a discount on the account.

I have on numerous occasions phoned the Billing Department, sent emails, and even gone into one of the Telkom shops in order to try to rectify this. I managed to get hold of the Billing Department again last week, and was told I had to phone the Sales Department to have the discount loaded. The representative I spoke to said she couldn't do it, but would get a manager to contact me. A manager then contacted me the next day, and then informed me that my account has now been suspended, and he cannot load the discount onto my account because of this. I have been paying an amount of R1000.00 every month, even though I only signed up for an amount of R807.00 per month. They now tell me I have to lodge a dispute on my account (which was done a month ago and rejected), or I must make a payment plan or pay the full outstanding amount, so that they can then load the discount onto my account. Firstly, I cannot afford to settle the account. Secondly, I wouldn't have signed up with Telkom had I known that I was going to be charged R1511.14 per month. Thirdly, I don't see why I need to pay any additional amounts, when Telkom's Sales Department didn't do their jobs properly in the first place.

I have spent countless hours now trying to rectify this. Not to mention my time, money and petrol. I find this completely unacceptable. Their staff are clearly not properly trained in their jobs, and you are just given the run around the whole time. As a customer, I am left completely dissatisfied and annoyed by this service. I need this to be sorted out immediately, and for Telkom to take responsibility for their error. This is utterly disgusting service.
