I don't really want to go into this in detail, Telkom has wasted enough of my time. Suffice it to say they're useless and I'm looking forward to my contract running out in a few months, after which I will avoid dealing with them like the plague. I'm surprised people still make use of their services seeing as the reviews out there are overwhelmingly negative. I had a problem connecting to the internet with my USB modem after a software upgrade on my laptop and after countless hours spent speaking to reasonably friendly but ultimately *********** call center staff and supposed technicians my suspicions were confirmed. They had no idea how to fix the problem and no solution was offered. I was simply expected to keep paying and receive nothing in return. I was given a reference number and told that a technician would phone me back. This was a month ago. I'm still waiting. They are blatantly *****ing from me, there's no other way of putting it.
