Telkom/Sell direct *****

In September,i was contacted by Sell Direct on behalf of Telkom informing me my data contract was up for renewal.I renewed my 20gig contract,amount for the contract was R250pm.I also took a new contract for the Hauwei pocket router with 11gigs data for R139.

I was billed for the 20gigs data R508 from the end of September ,and im still being billed that amount.

I contacted Telkoms accounts dept,complained abt the amounts and informed them that that was not the amount i agreed upon and i even told them to go back and listen to the telephone conversation recordings.I was told that they cannot access that recording and i need to get those transcripts myself.

As you know you can never get hold of Sell Direct.This is now a breach of contract and ***** in my point of view.

I will never ever take another contract over the telephone again becos once you hang up,you can never get hold of that company again.

We as South Africans need to put a stop to telephone marketing and go back to walk in businesses where we deal with people face to face.
