TELKOM'S POOR RETURN POLICY

Good day, I have taken a new contract yesterday which is not exactly as expected. I am highly unsatisfied with the device, I would rather take an iPhone X series. Usual contracts has a 7 day cool off period , but as per recent conversation with a telkom employee the mobile handset cannot be sent back unless it has a fault. Please advise me in the best way possible to move forward with this matter.
