Telkom's new telephone service

Please beware of the new telephone system of Telkom's which is not via cables anymore. It is being sold as an improvement, but it is in fact a disaster. The sound quality is such that neither party in a telephone conversation can follow the other. There is that much interference. Moreover, I was puzzled that people hung up when phoning before I could answer their call. Turns out, that on the caller's side it rings 6 times before it rings on my telephone, so no wonder. I tried it out.
