Telkom's latest landline phones are *******.

I was forced into taking one of Telkom's wireless phones when they swopped to their new system. It has given me nothing but trouble. Callers call, they can't get hold of me, it doesn't ring on my end. If they do get through one of us can't hear the other. There is a long delay between dialing and actually hearing it dial, so you think it isn't functioning and dial again. At least 70% of calls have to be redialed several times. It a s@@t piece of equipment and I regret having it installed.I intend cancelling my subscription. It causes nothing but frustration.
