TELKOM'S INABILITY TO TERMINATE SERVICES:

We have been unsuccessfully trying since January the 29th 2019 to terminate the VSAT services provided by Telkom. After around 7 years of having the service installed so there is no contract in place anymore. Its very expensive and antiquated technology but is effective to a point in remote areas. However our phone line hasn't worked in ages.

Possibly, no surprise to the consumer, that it is now the 18/07/2019 and were still paying for the service!! They advised it would take a month to terminate. All paperwork is in order but due to the inefficiency of Telkom they continue to ***** our money and simply cant be bothered to terminate the service. Telkom is very efficient in billing for it. Unfortunately there are other lines we want to keep in place so not paying won't work either. TERRIBLE AND FRUSTRATING SERVICE!
