Telkoms Do It Yourself Service

I recently took out an phone line with telkom three months ago, aside from getting the line active which took two weeks was a walk in the park compared to what I have been dealing with. In the firsts month I have been with telkom I haven't received any letters, texts, emails or any sort of notification to inform me of my bill amount. I was then forced to contact them to pay them only to be told that I am late for my payment I then asked if it would affect my credit rating as i would have like to make the payment on time. I was informed that it would not and that it would be escalated to their cash management team to ensure the account does not get flagged for a late payment. I then called up a little while later only to be told that the previous advisor has **** to me about escalating it to the relevant department and that I would need to make the payment as soon as possible else I would be charged a late payment fee. I was told that the reason as to why I haven't received any confirmation to the bill is due to Telkom not having my correct email address which was amiero1 instead of amiero18. I was told by the advisor that it is my duty to ensure that the details are correct. In the second month once again I did not receive any billing statements and I was then forced to contact them again only to be told that there was a system error with sending out the bills to their customers. I asked why the customers were not notified of this and my question was could not be answered. In the third month I have lost my internet services entirely and its now been a week since my first point of contact to telkom in relation to this issue. The first time I called up for this issue was on Thursday the 21st of July 2016, I was told that there are outages all over cape town which was not the case(I was then **** to for the second time) . I was told to give it time and it would be resolved. I then called back on the 23 of July 2016 to inform telkom that the problem still persisted and it was at this point a case was logged for my issue. I was told by the agent that the technician would contact me and take me through some trouble shooting which did not happen at all. I then contacted telkom again on Monday evening the 25th of july 2016 about this query and I was told that the technician received the case at 14:45 that day in which I was still not contacted or kept updated. I was told that I may only escalate this mater after 3 working days has passed. I was told that the technician might call around 1pm the next day I have nit received any call or notification about the matter. I then contacted them again this evening on the 27th of july 2016 which is three working days later with no updates or notification about my query and I am still with out any internet services. I have asked them to escalate it for me and when thus was done i asked for the timescales in which I may get feedback my response was the same response I received on Monday when I have questioned how long the technician would contact me, I was told by the agents that they can nit give me any timescales as it depends on the technicians and they do not have any number to give me to contact them. I have asked how I can resolve the issue myself and I have been told there is nothing I can do but wait for the technicians response. I am now approaching a full week that I have lost my services and I have not made any progress on the matter or received any real help thus far. I will now probably be forced to pay for a service I am not receiving.
