Telkom's "amazing"customer Service

This is an email I sent to Telkom regarding the Service I have recieved from them for the past year.

I am writing this email to express my current and ongoing experience with Telkom.

I have 2 major issues that I have attempted to addressed with Telkom on numerous occasions... but as yet remain unresolved.

The first Issue: I have been trying to cancel a Telkom Fixed Service since 11 May 2017 – this being due to us not requiring a voice line any longer.

Since this initial attempt I have called multiple times for the call agent to “escalate” this issue.

I re-attempted to cancel this line on the 12 October 2017.

Once again on the 28 November 2017, an Ebrahiem Abrahams asked me to email the very same cancellation request with my ID to his email: ********** so that he can not only escalate this matter but also provide my with feedback.

Surprisingly, Ebrahiem did give me any feedback on the 4 December 2017 stating that he is awaiting feedback as well from his Team leader.

That was the last I heard from Ebrahiem. (I emailed him on the 14 December 2017, the 30 December 2017 & the 5 February 2018.)

All the while Telkom has been graciously sending me an invoice for this service that I no longer need or even use!

Another Cancellation request was sent on the 5 February 2018 with the hollow promise of someone contacting me within 21 working days.

On the 11 April 2018 another Telkom call agent asked me to do the same as Ebraheim did. Her email was ********** – And shockingly, nothing has come of this matter either.

It is now the 2 May 2018. In 9 days it will be a year to the date of when I started this painful journey. How on earth can you justify this service to a client?

If there was an issue such as an incorrect form or such matter then at least contact me, the client, and give me feedback!

The second Issue: This matter started on the 25/05/2018 where my internet connection suddenly stopped working.

I called in on the 25/05/2018 to hear that there was updates happening in the area and suggested I call back in 2 hours if this issue remains the same.

So I did - They logged a fault for me. Fault Ref. No. ********** 0.

Now this is just before the long weekend which concerned me but the call agent reassured me that technicians do work on public holidays and weekends.

Now I already have a bad taste in my mouth regarding my first issue and I can’t go without internet access in my household so I called every day in the mornings to see what is the current process of my fault and then again late in the afternoons for Feedback for the day.

The call agent in the morning would tell me that a technician has been assigned to my fault and is at the exchange.

Then for the agent in the afternoon to counter this statement with saying there is no technician assigned to this and they will “escalate” this fault.

I have called every day and have “escalated” this matter 4 times. On my 5th attempt to escalate this matter, I was finally issued an escalation number ********** on the 30/04/2018.

It has been 8 days. I have called in 16 times and no one can sort this issue out.

I called in again today for the agent to once again say that NO ONE has been assigned to my fault at all. What is the point of giving me an escalation number???

Now how are we going to sort this out?

Telkom will:

· Restore my internet access ASAP

· Give me compensation for my lack of internet as well as this **** service I have received since 25/04/2018

· Cancel this Fixed Voice Service that I requested back in last year and Give me compensation for overcharges since May 2017.

Failure to do so will result in me taking this matter to all forms of social media and Hellopeter.com, as well as putting a block payment on my Telkom account. I will not pay for this **** service that you are “providing” me.
