Telkom/Openserve Fibre not been installed over 2 months nor been allowed to cancelled!
I am very upset with Telkom and Openserve as 1st of all , i app**** in June for an Special Fibre package, they said it will take 5 to 7 working days to get installation done, the sales rep Tanya said they will not bill us until the line is active and we are connected. i have waited over 2 Months and still nothing everytime i phone they say they will escalate this, in the meantime i manage to speak to the technicians that installed my neighbors Fibre and he was connected within 5 days after he app****. i see the openserve vehicle nearly everyday in front of other house in my street and yet no one came to me, best of all is Accounts billed us for the Fibre for July.. yet again we had no Fibre.. how is this possible , I am really confuse the rep said that Telkom have setup a dedicated technical and support division for their Fibre and yet there is lack of communications..
Now after a loooong wait we gave up and cancelled the application as opened a query regards the billing issue. now after my wife cancelled once again telkom phoned my Wife to say they want to arrange a installation date again.. after we cancelled.., she said we are not interested as this was over 2 months the same issue and they never came back, we have now app**** by Afrihost within 48hours their couriers dropped of my Router , but now they cannot proceed as Telkom have still got a pending installation on my account.
Seriously !!!!! now when i contacted their new dedicated Fivre support number they told me they are offline, and this is been going on for the past week, everytime i phone the next day they say to me sorry their systems went down just after 9am.. how can a BIG!!! Company like Telkom/Openserve work like this.. where is your backup system.. all Big companies always have backup systems they work on when the main system goes down, this is unacceptable, also when i insist in talking to a Supervisor the operator say they in meetings or they drop my call... :(
Telkom please i urge you to look at your companies future if it comes to the support side, as from a clients side you need to understand without clients you cannot pay your services you use to keep your clients nor pay your staff, is it soo hard to make sure that your infrastructure is stable and that you give your clients what you promise.
a friend of mine just down the road has been staying at that address for 25 years plus.. yet when she app**** through Mweb for Fibre they tol her she has a pending Fibre installation already on her land line and she need to cancel this, does Telkom take ownership by default when installing fibre poles in the back of home owners premises.. as this is ******** , owners have the right to choose their own ISP, after all Telkom will still get the rental fee for the fibre as its Openserve fibre.
Please let me know what i should do to find out who i speak to to get my Fibre issue resolved. i am not going to take a telkom package i will stay with afrihost and i want to know who else apart of your new fibre support division can escalate the cancellation process as this clearly means it was not pushed and been put on pending so other ISPs cannot proceed with their applications..
Telkom just some advise from a concerned Client , you need to look at your management please the attitude of your staff is going to make your company loose more clients due to their negativity and lack of s****s and patience.
my wife phoned 10210 to query her complaint and they referred her to 10213 , there after waiting for 25min on the line that lady told her that 10210 is lying and they are the ones that need to attend to her complaint. How does staff of a company like Telkom get so personal with other staff in the same company , why must us as the clients here this, does the staff know what their jobs entitle. That outrage was unacceptable infront of my wife.
Anyways i am sure Telkom /Openserve will take this matter seriously as this will jeopardize the outcome of their professional look towards the telecommunication market.
