Telkom you did not close my account..years have passed and now you are claiming payment ???

I, had fully paid and closed my TELKOM account. The company did not close the account on their side and are now holding me liable for payment. I am confirming that I am a pensioner and cannot afford to pay the outstanding bill of R1370.21. I am further confirming that I had paid the account and requested for it to be closed. This is the message I have received: Mr/s Naidoo,a summons may be served & court order granted to recover R1370.21 owed to Telkom acc ***. what nonsense!!! Telkom why am I liable for your negligence.
