TELKOM - Worst Network Provider in the UNIVERSE!!! #TelkomMustFall
Firsty I know that no one is going to respond to this however to take out my frustrations and also warn others not to fall for this bogus entity called a "network provider"
I am a young indepent professional working remotely from home, have been a putting up with this pathetic sorry provider called Telkom for almost a decade now. Recently I lost my mobile phone with the same number that I have been using almost a decade. I called a Telkom to report the SIM ****** and to do a SIM SWAP was surprised to find that their process is ancient and still required clients to go to a Telkom store to do a SIM SWAP unlike their competitors as part of the call I wanted to confirm whether my number was RICA'd correctly and the agent on the other side everything was correctly captured apart from my name and she advised that I visit my nearest Telkom store where they will be able to rectify my name which was captured incorrectly(Surname & ID captured correctly), so I obliged and drove a good 60Kms to get to a Telkom store that was offline, I waited and waited and waited and waite and waited 3 and half hours later Telkom was online. Gave the agent my documents (ID & Proof of Res) and when she checked the system and said my name did not match what's their system I explained that I was advised to go to a Telkom store by another Telkom staff member and that the store agents would be able to update as my Surname, ID Number and Biometrics matched. Guess what she handed me my documents back and said there is nothing that she can do unless I bring the person whose name is on their system by the way I don't even know where that name comes from (Utter incompentence)
I left feeling like Telkom and it's agents had no empathy or even an inch of understanding, nor the importance of positive customer experience. Simply appauled by what they consider service. As part of my positive contribution to the world and making the world a better place, I am going to share this experience with every acquentaince, stakeholder, client and stranger that comes my way and as a freelancer who deals with corporate experience this gives me a great example of poor experience it explains the -94% NPS (Net Promoter Score)
I feel a #TelkomMustFall loading. . . . . . . . If this review get's 50 likes then we are on AMANDLA!!!!!!
