Telkom worst company ever

Telkom is the worst company to do business with. No issues ever get resolved. When you phone the Telkom contact centre you get transferred from one department to the other, spend hours on the phone and at the end of the call your issues are still unresolved.

I have been trying to cancel my ADSL line and data package since February 2018, now both my landline and ADSL line is not working. (I specifically asked to keep my landline active). About 2 months ago my landline first stopped working, but the ADSL line worked when I phoned about this no-one could tell me why it is not working. I asked for it to be reconnected (still not working). A month later my ADSL line stopped working. After many more calls I eventually got told my ADSL line wasn't cancelled and my line was suspended due to non payment - another issue I am trying to resolve since July 2018. I was charged R600 odd which I disputed, a couple of day later I received a phone call from Telkom and an sms saying that my account will be credited with this amount. which hasn't happened yet either! I didn't pay this amount and made a phone call every month when I received my account and got told the account will be credited next month... So I was told now that my account was suspended due to non payment of the R600 (even though I did pay the rest of the account every month), I was told that I need to pay my full account to lift the suspension and only then can they cancel the ADSL line. I paid the full account on the 1st of November. On the 8th of November my line is still not working. I phoned the call centre again, was told now that my line is suspended due to the cancelation and it was never paid due to non payment. why does each person you talk to there tell you a different story??? and according to Billing department my account is still active.. I don't know anymore what to do.. No one at Telkom helps a person.. It is the worst company ever... and they cant care less about their customers.
