Telkom: Worst Cell Phone Provider : Case ***7
<p>I took out my Telkom Mobile Contract in 2014 , for the amount of R99per month.</p> <p>This included 5GB data and R100 free minutes.</p> <p> </p> <p>I continue to pay this amount even though my contract expired. When i called the call centre they informed me that i was now on a month to month contract which i agreed to at the same price of R99.</p> <p> </p> <p>Suddently on 01 June 2017 - 30 June Statement , i am now been billed a further amount for internet bundle add on for the amount of R337.37 plus R349 . The case number for this call was ********** 7 . I spoke to Meshan Naidoo ( team Leader)</p> <p> </p> <p>Summary of the Problem I have experienced:</p> <p><br />I have been paying R99 each month for the 100minutes, 5 GB data and free Telkom to Telkom calls each month. Please refer to the 01 April - 30April 2017 statement, this is correct.</p> <p><br />01May 2017 - 31 May 2017, Telkom billed me an additional R95.81 for Smart Plan 100, this is incorrect and you already billed me R99 on this same invoice, why will you charge me a further R95.81?? this is incorrect. ..Please refer to May 2017 statement attached.</p> <p><br />01 June - 30June 2017, Telkom billed me for two additional " ADD on INTERNET BUNDLES" which I did not request. the amount of R337.37 plus a further amount of R349. this is incorrect...please refer to statement June 2017.</p> <p><br />Telkom has not even had the decency of informing me why there is an extra charge or why would this be . No SMS, NO correspondence...nothing !!! NOW then even refuse to refund my amoun that they overcharged me for.</p> <p><br />I require the following action :</p> <p><br />I require a full refund for the amount of R782.18 , this is made up of R95.81 plus R334.37 plus R349. The full amount of R782.18 need to be credit back into my financial account with immediate effect so that the amount of R1189.97 Is reduced. My next debit order should only be for R407.79. (R1189.97 less R782.18)</p> <p> </p> <p>I would really like to continue with Telkom at the same rate of R99 for 5gb data, 100minutes and Telkom to Telkom call free.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />Please feel free to call me on ********** 102 and provide me with urgent feedback and also via email.</p> <p><br />Please treat as extremely urgent.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
