Telkom WOES!

At the beginning of April I decided to get phones from Telkom. On the 24th of April I made a manual payment for the mobile phones and my landline (R250 for phone 1, R500 for phone 2 and R800 for my landline). This money reflected on the 25th of April. On the 30th of April I was debited - so the next day I communicate with an agent that says that the money that was received double will be seen as a credit on my account and it cannot be refunded, so I go and pay R50 at my bank to reverse the charge, because I actually NEED that money. Anyway, In May I don't get debited, so I had to do a manual payment (AFTER the disaster of the previous month) and I get charged for a late payment and a R200 fee for the debit reversal!!!! After all of this a consultant tells me that these fees will be credited, however when I checked today what my debit amount for this month will be, I get told that the R200 will NOT be credited?

Now, I don't know how Telkom does business, but is this how customers get treated? Is it standard procedure that the customer DOESN'T come first? Is conflicting information from consultants a norm?

Highly disappointed and will move my business elsewhere if this isn't resolved!
