I recently learned that Telkom as listed me as a default payer. I tried to apply for vehicle finance but got declined because of this. I had a month to month ADSL service with them in 2016 i then cancelled shortly after due to poor service and days on end without internet. I remember talking to a consultant who was very rude when I tried to cancel with her. For some reason they continued to accumulate service fee without actually sending me the invoices. According to the law this account should have been prescribed after 3years. I need them to remove the default against my name as this will prevent me from obtaining any further finance in the future.
