Telkom Wifi Router I didn't received but they are billing me

In 2024, I met a guy in the street who is an Telkom Agent. He asked me if I wanted Wifi, I agreed and I gave him my details. I registered. I waited 2 weeks before I got a call from them. I had already decided I will use a different one because I had waited too long and my kids had school work to do and I had no money to buy Data from time to time. I then told the lady to cancel the application. She said ok according to her, the application was canceled. 2 days later I get a call from a Courier service telling me they are on their way to deliver my Router from Telkom. I told the guy, he can't deliver that to me because I have cancelled the Application. He said ok and hung up the phone. Then I was shocked when I started getting messages from Telkom where I was debited R2018 from my Telkom account. I am now being handed to their Lawyers. I am now on a final Notice According to them. I went to the nearest Telkom shop, made calls, spoke to a Consultant Telephonically and she said I must send an Affidavit and my ID copy that they will investigate and let me know but I am still waiting and I am still getting messages of Notices from Telkom Lawyers. I never received the Router because I am using a DSTV Router and Cancelled the Telkom router before it even came. I didn't sign anything.
