Telkom who? Who is that??

So this has got to be the best one yet!<br> I have been a Telkom internet user for the last 18months. I recently moved to a suburb in Johannesburg which seems to have no Telkom coverage , imagine that! <br> I was advised to roam on the MTN network instead, but it wont work. <br> The lady at the help desk advised that if I want to have internet access in the comfort of my home ( isn't that why we have internet), I would have to walk up the road to McDonalds since coverage is good there and then I can access the internet. If I want to do so at home, I would have to purchase different internet access since the current one cannot be converted in any way. <br> So get this, I am debited monthly for 5GB of data which I cannot use, which they wont cancel or convert, and the solution is to spend additional money at an increased rate so that I have actual access to the net. <br> Really TELKOM???!!!!! <br> Is that how you deal with your clients, very sad, what have all things come to??? Please invite competition to the telecommunications industry so we can get somewhere.<br> Oh by the way, still waiting after 8 months for my last complaint which has not been solved - anyone interested???
