Telkom - where no one cares, no one gives a damn and no help.
I have had so many terrible encounters with Telkom from the rudeness of their agents to them not showing any initiative to help. I had a total of 5 contracts, 2 canceled and 3 more definitely to go. Firstly I've called in regarding my spending limit I asked them to investigate who authorise my permanent spending limit to be raised to R40 and no response since August 2023. I would like to know that till now. I've called in again in January, spoke to agents and asked them to help with the same thing and today to my surprise I call into telkom and this was not the case since I've requested again in January. The managers are never on the floor to take agents calls, because they too themselves surely do not know what they are doing I suppose! I had a agent on the phone in an abrupt tone tell me "I am rude" I was just shocked and along with the SME avoiding to cover over and help this person.... Bear you in mind this was her first month on the job and already she is addressing customers in such a manner even when we vent๐๐๐ There is never a manager at work either on time๐ค agents are saying my manager is not in or they are in a meeting, I've instructed an agent to go fetch a TL from the meeting cause I believe my matter was more urgent. I was suspended apparently something about exceeding my credit limit and was instructed 3 different amounts the pay so I can have my phone unlocked. Do you understand for 3 people from the same organisation to all give you different information around payments etc? You make it seem as if we do not have jobs and that we always have spare time to forever sort these issues created by you! I've dealt with providers and truth be told, I don't if it's telkom or the caliber of the people you employed that just makes the brand *****ed and not something I'd ever ever ever ever ever want to deal with again. Start by, having your Team Leads take accountabily and stop pushing agents away to come seek assistance when a customer wants to speak to a manager. Make them lie and say you not in, you in a meeting.... What good practice is it that your agents are in but not you as a Team lead? Who is supportive that agent if they have someone as difficult as myself on the line? You blatantly refuse us to speak to TLs why? It should be out of the question and no excuse around that. Can you please sort that out especially in the Durban area. I've had a complaint escalated to a few TLs within Durban, not a call received around my concerns which goes to show how much of a **** you really give about your customers! I spit on the ground after saying I regret and hate this network or your staff training cause it's the worse experience ever especially starting off with you since 2013.
