Telkom, what a nightmare

In the process for purchasing my house, a Telkom account showed outstanding, which I want to settle. Telkom claims they handed my account over to debt collection. I called the debt collection and they said that they have not dealt with Telkom accounts for past two years and they handed the account back to Telkom. Even though this account shows outstanding on my credit report, stopping me from buying my house, I have ko way of paying it. The run around Telkom have me was just awful. The incompetence is on another level. I appeal people not to deal with them.
