Telkom - We love ignoring cancelation request!
Trying to cancel a Telkom line is a exercise in self-control! This is the 3rd time that I have now finally taken to Hellopeter to try and get a line cancelled from Telkom. After multiple calls followed by emails (staying on the calls until the rep. confirmed reception of the email ) absolutely nothing gets done. My last email to Mr. Menzi Magubane (as instructed by the rep. I had to mail his manager whom will follow up on the matter)
"I have sent the cancelation documentation on 21 November 2017 and received a “acknowledged receipt” email for the cancelation. On 19 Jan 2018 I poke to a Ronette because the cancelation was not done and again resent the cancelation documentation. 13 Feb 2018 a new invoice was received and I sent a mail to Ronette to confirm that the cancelation was being attended to, I have yet to receive any response. 21 Feb I phones again and spoke to a person with the email address ********** and resent the previous emails again.
On all of the calls I only ended the call once the person I was talking to acknowledge that the sent email was received. Please explain to me how it is possible that you are unable to complete a cancelation order from 21 Nov 2017? After multiple calls and emails from me.
Please confirm receipt of this mail and your intended steps to rectify the situation asap."
I have yet to receive any feed back from Mr. Magubane, this seems to be the standard operating procedure from Telkom when a customer submit a cancelation request.
I would like to know how I need to invoice for my time as I have to spend my time and effort every month trying to cancel the lines due to Telkom's incompetence.
