TELKOM WANTS ME TO DRIVE 122.7KM FOR A SIMSWAP

I lost my Wifi router with the Telkom simcard yesterday. The router was bought cash and the simcard is pre-paid. Less than a week ago 10GB data was loaded on the simcard and nothing was used since then. Thinking that all of this is my property and the simard is pre-paid I will be able to do a simswap - Guess I thought a whole bunh of nonsense. Phoned Telkom and the call centre advicced me to drive to the nearest Telkom Shop. Really??? The nearest shop is 122.7km from me and all this for data that cost me R149 and all this during the Covid-19 pandemic? Do you really want your customers exposed and having customers to occur extra cost for R149's data bundle???? Telkom the Government is asking the citizens to stay home and stay safe - You would rather request customers to drive 122.7km to a Telkom Shop???? If every town had a shop, different story!!! There is not a lot of Telkom Shops in the Free State and just image the amount of people standing in rows to access your shops. I will never recommend anyone to do business with Telkom. Maybe Telkom is part of the trade to spread the Covid-19 virus and expose more of their employees and their customers. Most of the businesses moved their trade to online to curb the spread of the virus - NOT TELKOM!!!!! Another fact - I suffer from Asthma. I cannot go and stand in public spaces with a mask on for unknown amounts of times - then I can't breath. I cannot risk to contract the virus due to my medical condition!
