Telkom waiting period terrible!!!!

I ordered a telephone line almost 6 weeks ago. I was called 2 weeks ago to say a technician would be out the following day at the time I said I would be home. The following day the technician called to say he could not make it!! I called Telkom last week and was told a technician would be in contact. I have heard nothing ! Absolutely ridiculous!!! In the meantime I have to pay for the ADSL line I ordered !!!!!! ????
