Telkom, you are completely and utterly useless.... your incompetency has me amused. The only okay-ish part of your company is the Marketing team but hey, the ads are also based on misrepresentation of the company.

I app**** or a cell phone contract telephonically.... the person who assisted me informed me that the transition from Vodacom to Telkom would be smooth and hassle free.

That was the beginning of the lies

Who knows what happened with the porting of my number as I couldn't make use of my phone for 2 days....

Great numerous calls to the call centre, and finally 72 hours later I had reception.

A week later..... yes only 7 days later I once again find myself in the hopeless position of not being able to receive any communication from the outside word.

Managers on duty are more useless than the service consultant..... They have a mantra, the issue has been reported.... 72 hours. Its funny, Telkom can send a mail stating the above mantra but they cannot give a client a call. Is this because they dont have "reception" either or did they run out of airtime?

Telkom your company as a whole should be closed as you are a bunch of con artists. Hiding behind the 180 number
