Telkom voip misleading
I have been in the Telkom store and now have phoned Telkom regarding voip and that it is not possible to change my Telkom landline to voip. Now riddle me this, riddle me that - the information on their website says it is possible to get voip even if you are not a telkom broadband customer. Someone is lying, either way their weak sales team will cost them in the long term. Telkom information on their website: 1. R50.44 subscription applies if you are not a Telkom Broadband customer 2. Transform your landline phone, because you can make voice calls using any DSL or LTE broadband connection even if it’s not Telkom Internet. 3. IP Voice uses your Internet connection to make voice calls and you don’t need to be on a Telkom Internet plan 4. It’s really for anyone and everyone. If you are a fixed or mobile internet user, you can get IP Voice 5. You need a broadband connection – Either Mobile (LTE) or Fixed (DSL, Fibre) 6. You can choose to receive a unique telephone number, or you can keep your existing telephone number. When employees get fired because demand for their services is low, now you know!
