Telkom VDSL CutOver Not happening over 1yr LATER!!!

<p>I live in Marina Da Gama (Eastlake Island), where most of the residents in the area were switched over to VDSL in 2015. My area was also scheduled to receive the new VDSL feed. In fact Telkom had already installed all the hardware needed for the new VDSL feed which was outside my property (verge of my property). In early 2015 Telkom had already laid down the fibre casings, power and the concrete slab to protect the hardware. However later this year Telkom sent independent contractors to remove all the hardware already prepared for the VDSL feed in my area. Their reason, someone in the area complained - no reason given, even though my property is the only property that can be affected (and I wasn't the one who complained). Anyway many months have now gone by and our area (zone 15/16) still remains free from the VDSL connection. I have called Telkom over 20 times asking for this connection, I filled in the request even on their openserve website requesting Fibre/VDSL for our area. In my last call to them last week they requesting if more people in our area request the VDSL connection then they might consider providing it. I find this statement absolutely rediculous since the vast area's of Muizenberg that have already been covered with VDSL did not need to do this. The map attached shows clearly that the VDSL rollout for this area remains incomplete and they need to switch the remaining areas over to VDSL/Fibre SOONEST.</p>
