Telkom Utterly Disgusted!!!

On Monday I app**** for the R499 Telkom 100 iPhone 6 plus package with unlimited data for 6 months. I went in on Wednesday to enquire about the progress at which time I was told that they wont be getting stock of the phone for the foreseeable future. Why don't they tell customer that when you sign a contract. Other cellular companies activate your account and supply with a handset immediately. I was informed that Telkom would simply say that these deals are valid for as long as stock lasts. Seems they only had a few handsets to start with. TELKOM don't advertise a product you don't have stock of!!! I emailed a complaint and listed on HelloPeter. I was contacted immediately by the Social Media Dept. I was told that they would forward to the relevant department and I would receive feedback soonest. Not a single response. I told the gentleman I did not expect a call back as this was typical of TELKOM. He told me that \I would definitely get feedback". Yeah right!!!
