Telkom uselessness

I've been a Telkom mobile customer for four year (LTE wireless) and I can honestly say I have been very happy with their service. I switched to Telkom 10mb landline uncapped two months ago. After a struggle to get the line installed, all seemed fine.

2018-09-14 the phoneline and internet went down. I logged the fault on the 14th and followed up on the 16th. I had to chat to a consultant every time as neither the reference numbers or my landline number seem to work on the app. Visited the telkom store. The consultant said the phone nr I provided was someone else's. This is the number I've been using for two months!? Truecaller.com identifies the number under my name. They issues me a data sim card. (which doesn't work either)

2018-09-18 there was a dial tone on the phone line but the internet is still down. I phoned my cellphone from the landline and now the landline nr has changed. The new number is listed under someone else's name according to truecaller.com.

I've been following up daily and getting nowhere. Getting the same copy and paste reply. Tomorrow it will be a week.

Telkom You don't know what's going on around you. No wonder you are in trouble. You are pathetic.

After battling for days, it seemed like got hold of a consultant that sounded like she knew something. After troubleshooting she determined that the problem is the router. She tried to log it on her system and she discovered that the sale was never confirmed on telkoms system. She said I must phone the dreaded 10213 nr and tell them to confirm the sale. I did that (telling the whole saga to the consultants that I spoke to on a daily basis). Never getting a reference nr and I cant log a fault through the app or website because the system doesn't pick up my line nr. @#&! I managed to get hold of a technician (only because he is a client of my father's) He came over personally and identified the line and got everything back up and running. Nothing wrong with the router. With no doubt, I would still be offline if I didnt manage to get in contact with a technician personally. I checked my billing and it only reflected the line rental amount. I queried it and guess what? The consultant told me I must phone 10213 and tell them the order is still pending.
